Porn is based on the principle of the self desiring to be worshipped. Where did this concept originate? It's not empathy, which is the quality that causes humans to be human. In fact, self-worship is the kind of perverted worship that disregards the needs of the others while taking from them to serve oneself.
This concept is so easy to recongise if a person is familiar with Christian beliefs and a basic knowledge of the Bible.
People believe that they are gods. Attractive females seem to believe they are worthy of the title 'goddess' while both genders actively seek to be lusted after.
Lust is really a desire to be worshipped based on one's ability to sexually arouse others.
Women wear sexually provocative clothing. They endure painful and risky surgical operations in order to further enhance their ability to sexually arouse men.
Many men pay exorbitant amounts of money in order to see attractive, naked female bodies or to enact with those bodies. The porn industry reaps billions of dollars from men and women porn addicts.

Bible verses that demonstrate the principle on which porn is built.
Given that Satan is the angelic being that the Bible discloses as being the originator of selfishness (sin), it is helpful to look at two Bible passages that describe his character - selfishness - based on his beauty and his musical talent - which inspired him to want to elevate himself to the position of divinity. He was created an angel, not a divine being, but Lucifer coveted the position of his divine Creator.
Isaiah 14:12-15
"How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: "I will ascend into the heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north. I will ascend above the height of the clouds. I will be like the Most High. Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depth of the pit."
Ezekiel 28:13-18
"You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone was your covering. The sardius, topaz and diamond, beryl, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes (vocal cords) was prepared for you on the day you were created. You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God. You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created till iniquity was found in you. By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within. And you sinned. So now, the entire world appears to be imitating the character of Lucifer.

This turns society into a competitive place. Women compete against each other to wear the most seductive, provocative clothing in order to win male attention and the money of the men they attract. Men compete with other men in order to get the hottest female body (or a multitude of female bodies) on their arm. This is seen as a status symbol or a symbol of him being a successful man - a 'stud.'
Sexual immorality in the form of porn addiction and excessive, emotionally disconnected sexual activity, causes negative hormonal changes in the brain.
Neural pathways in the brain are formed that unbalance major neurotransmitters - dopamine, nor-adrenaline and serotonin which cause serious negative consequences such as depression, addiction and difficulty sleeping.
Porn addiction causes erectile dysfunction (ED).
Sexual hookup with multiple partners cause changes in the brain and an inability to chemically/emotionally bond with a partner as well as increased risk of becoming infected with serious diseases that are transmitted by bodily fluids.
Unplanned pregnancies can cause major financial upsets if a child is born; and if an abortion is chosen, lifelong grief can be experienced by some women and men who didn't want the abortion to occur.
