MANY men and women simply want to change the negative consequences that porn has caused them in the form of unwanted side effects such as erectile dysfunction, financial expenses, marital breakdown etc, but they don't see lust as it really is - sexual abuse. They don't see it as being inherently evil, revolting, disgusting, seriously injurious and selfish. They still DESIRE to be able to look at female/male body parts, sexually evaluate those body parts and to enjoy lusting in their minds. These men/woman do not want to sacrifice the dopamine reward they have trained their body to receive when they engage in sexual evaluation of female/male body parts. They see the selfish, sexualised, abusive behaviour of lust as being 'natural' and they have no intention of discarding this horrendous behaviour.
The community services and free phone/personal consultations offered by Mind Rewind do not extend to people who do not want to find freedom from sexual lust. We are unable to offer our services to those who still wish to maintain their 'right' to fantasise sexually over female/male body parts.
Our free services are offered only to those who realise the depravity of selfish sexual behaviour; to those who understand the evil principles of lustful behaviour and who wish to abandon porn and sexual selfishness it in all its forms. If that kind of desire is absent in the addict, then no amount of coaching or support will be successful in overcoming porn or sexual abuse addiction/compulsion/habits.
